I’ve stayed at places that claim to be “near” Euston and then you’re dragging luggage for fifteen minutes through Camden’s winding streets. Here? You can see the station from some of the upper floor windows. The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than flashy – good lighting (finally, a hotel that gets it), decent-sized desks if you need to work, and beds that are actually comfortable instead of just looking Instagram-ready. The bathrooms are compact but well-planned, though honestly, the water pressure could be better. It’s not terrible, just… London water pressure, you know?

What really sold me on this place was how the staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood. When I asked about breakfast spots beyond the hotel restaurant, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map – he drew a little route to this brilliant café on Drummond Street where locals actually go, then mentioned which mornings the farmers market sets up nearby. That kind of insider knowledge is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to experience London like you live here, not just visit. The 7.3 rating makes sense to me – it’s solidly good without being perfect. You’re not paying Mayfair prices, but you’re getting genuine comfort and a location that puts most of London within easy reach. The Northern Line is right there for getting down to the West End, and if you’re one of those people who actually enjoys walking in cities, you can reach Regent’s Park in about ten minutes. I’d definitely come back, especially since parking in this part of Camden is generally a nightmare, but they’ve sorted that out with their own spaces. Sometimes the simple things – like not circling blocks looking for a spot after a long drive – make all the difference in how a trip starts.
