But you know what? Step inside and it all makes sense.

The lobby hits you with this warm, sophisticated vibe that feels more like a stylish friend’s living room than your typical hotel reception. There’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try to be everything to everyone – the Megaro knows exactly what it is. The staff actually seem to enjoy being there, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re dealing with London prices and the usual travel stress. The British Library is right there if you need a quiet escape, and honestly, being slightly removed from the absolute chaos of central tourist London is a blessing. You can walk to Covent Garden or the West End easily enough, but you’re not dealing with the noise and crowds when you’re trying to sleep. The area gets properly quiet after about 10 PM, which is rare for central London. The rooms themselves are thoughtfully designed – not just pretty, but actually functional. Good lighting where you need it, proper blackout curtains, and bathrooms where you can actually move around without bumping into everything.
