I mean, Fitzrovia can be hit or miss with accommodations, but this two-bedroom flat gets the balance right between central location and genuine comfort.

The flat itself is properly cozy – not that fake “cozy” you see in listings where they mean “small.” The bedrooms are sized for actual humans, and honestly, the living area has this lived-in warmth that makes you want to sprawl out with a book rather than rush back onto the streets. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even though you’re basically in the heart of everything. The windows face away from the main road noise, which is clutch if you’re not used to London’s constant hum. The kitchen’s well-stocked too – I was able to make proper coffee in the morning instead of hunting down a café before I was fully awake.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where the tourists haven’t completely taken over yet. Charlotte Street’s restaurant scene is literally a three-minute walk, and I’m talking about places where Londoners actually eat, not just overpriced tourist traps. The Goodge Street tube station saves you from the Oxford Circus madness when you need to get around, and there’s a Sainsbury’s Local close enough that you’ll actually use it. What really sold me though was being able to walk to both the British Museum and Regent’s Park without feeling like I needed to plan an expedition – sometimes you just want to wander over to the park with a coffee, you know? The 7.8 rating feels about right; it’s not trying to be some luxury experience, but everything works properly and the host clearly gives a damn. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to feel less like a tourist and more like I was actually living in London for a few days.
