Zedwell Greenwich Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Zedwell Greenwich, you immediately notice this isn’t your typical London hotel. The modern building at Cavatina Point feels refreshingly different from the usual Victorian conversions you’ll find scattered across the city. It’s a three-star property that actually knows what it’s doing — clean lines, smart design, and none of that trying-too-hard vibe that some boutique places fall into.
The Greenwich Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying in Greenwich — you’re close enough to central London but far enough away to breathe a bit. The hotel sits right in the heart of this UNESCO World Heritage area, and honestly, couples seem to get it more than anyone else (they consistently rate the location around 8 out of 10). You can walk to the Cutty Sark in about five minutes, and the National Maritime Museum is practically next door. The DLR station is close by too, which means you’re connected to Canary Wharf and Bank without the usual Tube chaos.
Smart Room Design
The room design here is actually pretty clever — they’ve gone for this wellness-focused approach that you don’t see much in London hotels. Think blackout everything for proper sleep, air purification systems, and these interesting chromotherapy lights that change throughout the day. I mean, it sounds a bit gimmicky when you read about it, but it actually works. The rooms aren’t huge (this is London, after all), but they’ve maximized every inch without making it feel cramped.
Local Neighborhood Feel
What really works about this location is how it feels like you’re staying in a proper London neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble. Greenwich Market is a short stroll away — perfect for weekend browsing and decent food stalls. The riverside walks along the Thames are genuinely lovely, especially if you head toward the O2 Arena (though you probably won’t want to walk that far). There’s also this great pub culture here that feels more authentic than what you’ll find in Zone 1, and the restaurant options range from proper gastropubs to some surprisingly good international spots.
Why Guests Love It
Recent guests keep mentioning the location in their reviews, and I get why — it’s that sweet spot of being somewhere interesting without paying central London prices. The hotel’s focus on wellness and sleep quality actually delivers, which is rare for a three-star property. You’re not getting premium amenities, but you are getting thoughtful design and a genuinely restful stay. Plus, parking is available if you’re driving, which is practically a miracle in this part of London. The staff seem to understand that most guests are here to explore Greenwich and use it as a base for London adventures, so they’re helpful with local recommendations without being pushy about it.

Hugh from United Kingdom (8/10)
Simple set up, the rooms are basic but functional. Shower is warm and good pressure. There were no windows in the room I stayed in, which was a little strange in the morning. Although nothing that would mean the stay was affected. Overall very good price for a double room. Served the purpose.
