The Rokxy Townhouse – Kings Cross Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to The Rokxy Townhouse – Kings Cross on Argyle Square, you immediately get that classic London townhouse vibe — you know, the kind of Georgian terrace that makes you feel like you’re stepping into a proper British story. It’s a three-star property, but honestly, the location alone makes it feel like you’ve struck gold. The building has character without being stuffy, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup.
Location Magic
Here’s the thing about staying in Kings Cross — people used to avoid this area, but now it’s absolutely buzzing with energy. You’re literally minutes from St. Pancras International (hello, easy Eurostar access) and King’s Cross station, which means the entire city is at your fingertips. What I love most is how you can walk to Camden Market in about fifteen minutes, or stroll over to Covent Garden when you want that touristy London experience. The couples who stay here seem to get it — they’ve rated the location 9.6, and I mean, when you’re exploring London together, being this well-connected makes all the difference.
The Room Experience
The rooms are exactly what you’d expect from a thoughtfully renovated townhouse — compact but clever, with those high ceilings that Georgian buildings do so well. Each space had this nice balance of modern comfort and period charm, with genuine comfort and updated bathrooms that don’t lose the building’s character. The beds are genuinely comfortable (which matters more than people realize after a day of London walking), and the whole place feels like someone’s stylish London home rather than a generic hotel. The attention to detail throughout creates an inviting atmosphere that guests consistently praise.
Practical Perks
One thing that surprised me — they actually have parking available, which in central London is basically like finding a unicorn. If you’re driving into the city, this is huge. The staff genuinely seem to know the neighborhood well, so they’re great for those “where should we grab dinner” conversations. There’s no on-site restaurant, but honestly, with Borough Market and all the incredible food options around Kings Cross, you don’t need one. The location puts you within walking distance of some of the city’s best dining experiences.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t about marble lobbies or rooftop pools — it’s about being in the right spot with everything you actually need. The 8.4 rating tells the real story here: people leave happy because the hotel delivers on what matters most in London. You’re close enough to everything that matters, the place is clean and comfortable, and you’re not paying premium prices for the privilege. When you can walk to the British Museum, hop on the Tube anywhere, or catch a train to Paris all from the same neighborhood, that’s when you know you’ve chosen well. This townhouse offers genuine value and authentic London hospitality.

Suzanne from United Kingdom (9/10)
A lovely stay. Although a small room, the bed was a double and very comfortable. Lovely additional items provided like a Fort and Mason`s jam, as well as a mini bar with snacks, and a small toothpaste/toothbrush toiletry set. Very close to King`s Cross/St Pancras, so it was ideal for getting the Eurostar the next morning. It was just a shame I was up too early to get the wee breakfast that is left outside the door. the staff Neo was very nice and friendly.

Location close to King’s Cross was really convenient for a weekend in London. Really helpful having the early bag drop and also being able to leave the suitcase and shopping the morning we left. The staff work hard to make the stay as easy as possible. With fresh tea and biscuits left outside our room on the morning and a well stocked minibar with refreshments. Very good value for money.
