Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium is practically next door if you’re into football, and the actual Finsbury Park (the green space) is perfect for morning runs or just escaping the city buzz for a bit. Couples seem to really appreciate this area — I can see why, since it feels more like a proper London neighborhood rather than a tourist trap.

The Room Experience

My room was on the third floor, and while it wasn’t huge, it had everything I actually needed. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up with that hotel-bed backache, and there’s decent storage space for your stuff. The bathroom was clean and functional — I mean, the shower had proper water pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in London hotels. What I appreciated most was that the windows actually opened (not always a given), and the heating worked without making those weird clicking noises all night.

The full English breakfast here is actually worth getting up for — and I say this as someone who usually just grabs coffee and runs. They do it properly: proper bacon, eggs cooked how you want them, black pudding if that’s your thing, and decent coffee. The restaurant area gets busy around 8 AM, so if you’re not a morning person, either get there early or wait until after 9 when the business travelers have cleared out. The staff don’t rush you either, which is nice when you’re trying to fuel up for a day of London walking.

  The place is in a perfect location – close to the tube and you can walk in Finsbury Park (in the daylight). They are super secure. The breakfast is fantastic! Rooms are small but that was what I was expecting and the shower was little and the floor slightly soft but I never felt unsafe!
