Couples seem to get this location particularly well (they rate it 9.2, which is pretty impressive), and I can see why — it’s romantic without being touristy, if that makes sense.

The rooms here are what you’d call smart rather than spacious — this is London, after all. What struck me was how well they’ve used the space, with clever built-in storage and a room layout that doesn’t feel cramped despite being compact. The design leans modern with clean lines and a monochrome palette that somehow feels cozy rather than cold. You’ll find good blackout curtains (essential for those summer mornings when it’s light at 5 AM) and surprisingly effective soundproofing considering you’re on a main road.

Neighborhood Dining and Amenities

While the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant, you’re actually better off exploring what’s around you anyway. There’s a fantastic Turkish place called Yalla Yalla just around the corner, and if you fancy something more upmarket, Odette’s in Primrose Rose is worth the short walk. The local Tesco Express is handy for basics, and there’s a proper butcher and fishmonger on England’s Lane if you’re staying somewhere with cooking facilities — though honestly, with all the great eating options nearby, you probably won’t need them.

What really works here is that NOX Belsize Park gets the balance right between being a proper London experience and actually being comfortable. You’re not paying central London prices, but you can be in Oxford Circus in about 20 minutes on the Northern line.   We stayed at this hotel as our last 2 days in London. It is a much quieter area. You are 10 min walk from Camden Market. This worked out for us since we had done the tourist site. No complaints. It was a perfect area to end our trip and relax quietly.

  Gorgeous place, fabulous location, excellent facilities.
  Arrived to be told that our card reader on the door didn't work so given a physical key, which was absolutely fine with us, but 10 minutes later maintenance arrived and fixed the door there and then.
  24/7 reception available, small but excellent room that was comfortable and modern. Incredibly large TV, with a comfortable bed and large shower with a normal shower head and a rainfall shower head (and good water pressure).
  Even had a full small kitchen in a cupboard to be self-sufficient.
