Adria Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Adria Hotel on Glenthorne Road, you immediately get that “local London” feeling — this isn’t some massive chain property trying to impress everyone who passes by. It’s a solid three-star spot that honestly feels more personal than half the bigger hotels I’ve stayed at in London. The building has character without being stuffy, and you can tell they’ve put thought into making the entrance welcoming rather than intimidating.
The Hammersmith Advantage
Here’s what I love about this location — you’re in Hammersmith, which means you get that authentic London neighborhood vibe without the tourist chaos of central zones. The Tube connections are actually brilliant from here; you can get to central London quickly, but when you come back in the evening, you’re in a real area where locals grab dinner and drinks. There’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t feel like it exists purely for visitors, you know? Plus, couples seem to really get this — they’ve rated the location 9.2, which honestly makes sense when you experience how easy everything feels from this spot. The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options and local pubs where you can experience genuine London culture.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was… well, exactly what you’d expect from a well-run three-star in London, but in the best way possible. Clean, comfortable, with enough space that you don’t feel cramped after a long day of walking around the city. The bed was properly comfortable — not fancy, but I slept well, which is really what matters. What struck me was how they’ve managed to make relatively compact spaces feel thoughtfully designed rather than just squeezed together.
Practical Touches
You know what I appreciated? The staff actually seem to know the neighborhood and can give you real recommendations, not just the standard tourist script. When I asked about dinner options, they pointed me toward a couple of local spots that turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The whole operation feels efficiently run without being impersonal — check-in was smooth, and they handle the small details well. It’s the kind of place where everything just works without drama.
Why Guests Love It
With an 8.2 rating and that 9.3 location score, guests clearly appreciate what this place offers — reliable comfort in a genuinely good London location. I mean, you’re not getting spa treatments or a fancy restaurant, but you’re getting something more valuable: a base that makes your London trip easier and more authentic. The value proposition is solid, especially when you factor in how much you’d pay for similar quality in zones 1 or 2. It’s the kind of hotel that makes you feel like you’ve made a smart choice rather than just an expensive one.
Early hotels booking in London secures West End premieres, private palace tours, and river cruise brunches.

Everything was amazing, specially the service and hospitality of Front Desk Staff Mr. George. The hotel is classified as 3 star, but honestly speaking it’s room is like 4 star.

Andrew from Ireland (8/10)
A comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff, located a short walk from the two Underground stations and shopping centre. Pleasant room, as described. We were able to leave luggage, without charge, on the morning before check-in and the daytime after check-out, which was an important benefit for us.
