One Hundred Shoreditch Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to One Hundred Shoreditch on the bustling High Street, you immediately get that this isn’t your typical four-star hotel. The building has this industrial-chic vibe that perfectly captures the spirit of Hackney — it’s sleek without trying too hard, and honestly, it fits right into the neighborhood’s creative energy. The lobby strikes that sweet spot between trendy and welcoming, which can be tricky to pull off in London‘s competitive hotel scene. The entrance area sets the tone for what’s to come, with exposed brick and contemporary furnishings creating an inviting first impression.
The Shoreditch Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying in this part of town — you’re genuinely in one of London’s most exciting areas, and the hotel’s location score of 9.2 isn’t just marketing fluff. You can walk to Brick Lane for incredible curry in about ten minutes, hit up the vintage shops on Cheshire Street, or catch live music at any number of venues nearby. The Old Street tube station is close enough that getting into central London is actually pretty painless, but you know what? You might find yourself wanting to stay in the area instead. The neighborhood offers an authentic East London experience with galleries, street art, and independent businesses at every corner.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in had floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of natural light — something you really appreciate during London’s grayer days. The design feels contemporary without being cold, and there are thoughtful touches like proper bedside lighting for reading and enough outlets for all your devices. I mean, it’s 2024, we all travel with multiple chargers, right? The bathroom was spacious by London standards, which is saying something. Each room is thoughtfully appointed with quality linens and modern amenities that enhance the overall comfort of your stay.
Food and Practical Matters
Breakfast here covers all the bases — full English, vegetarian options, and they actually do gluten-free properly (not just as an afterthought). The restaurant has this relaxed atmosphere where you can linger over coffee without feeling rushed, which I really appreciated. There’s also parking available on-site, and if you’ve ever tried to park in Shoreditch, you’ll know that’s basically worth its weight in gold. The dining experience reflects the hotel’s commitment to quality and attention to detail across all guest services.
Why Guests Love It
Couples seem particularly drawn to this place — they’ve rated the location 9.3 for romantic getaways, and I can see why. There’s something about the combination of being in such a vibrant, creative neighborhood while having a stylish base to retreat to that just works. You’re surrounded by galleries, independent cafes, and that general buzz of East London, but you’re not sacrificing comfort or service. It’s that rare hotel that feels both local and polished, which honestly isn’t easy to find in a city where you’re often choosing between character and quality. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels valued and well-cared for throughout their visit.

Reviews of One Hundred Shoreditch
Nam from Vietnam (9/10)
The room was big and spacious and had all the small details, e.g., wine glasses, a bottle opener, glasses, and snacks. The lighting was great, and the bathroom supplies were ample and smelled great. The bed was huge and I mean it was so big, I could pretend I had the bed for myself!

Central to Shoreditch and Liverpool Street station . Have stayed here before . I felt the staff worked exceptionally hard on customer service this year . I was a little surprised to be asked to add a tip to my final bill for the service but felt it was justified.
