There’s a Sainsbury’s practically downstairs, and if you’re into the food scene, you’ve got Borough Market just across the river – though honestly, the new restaurants popping up around Nine Elms are worth exploring too. The building itself is pretty quiet despite being right on the water; the double glazing does its job well. Only minor gripe is that parking isn’t included, and street parking around there can be a bit of a nightmare, especially on weekends when people are hitting up the South Bank. But if you’re relying on public transport anyway, it’s not really an issue.
