The kitchen actually has proper equipment, not those sad hotel kettles and mini-fridges, so you can make real meals if you want to save some cash or just can’t face another pub dinner. The bedrooms are a decent size too – I mean, this is London, so don’t expect sprawling American hotel rooms, but you won’t be climbing over your suitcase to get to the bathroom. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night, considering you’re on a fairly busy street. The windows must be double-glazed or something because the buses and late-night Uber pickups just fade into background hum. Though I should mention – if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs anyway. This is central London, after all.
One thing that surprised me was how easy the whole check-in process was. No awkward lobby waiting or hunting down a concierge, just clear instructions and everything worked exactly as described.
