The whole place has this understated elegance that’s very… well, very British, honestly. It’s not flashy or trying too hard like some five-star spots. The apartments (because that’s really what they are – proper serviced apartments, not just hotel rooms) feel like someone with really good taste actually lives there. I stayed in one of the larger units and was genuinely surprised by the kitchen setup – I’m talking full-sized appliances, decent counter space, the kind of stuff you’d actually want to use if you were staying for more than a couple nights. The marble bathrooms are pretty spectacular too, though I’ll admit the rainfall shower took me a solid five minutes to figure out.

What really sells this place, though, is how it sits in the neighborhood. You’ve got the V&A and Natural History Museum basically around the corner – perfect for those inevitable rainy London afternoons. And honestly, the location is kind of genius if you think about it. You’re close enough to Knightsbridge station that getting anywhere is dead simple, but far enough from the main Brompton Road chaos that you can actually sleep at night. I was there during peak tourist season and never really felt overwhelmed by crowds once I turned onto Cheval Place. The staff seemed to know everyone’s name within about 24 hours, which was… actually pretty nice. Not in a forced, overly familiar way, just genuinely attentive. They sorted out restaurant reservations without me even asking, and when I mentioned I was heading to a meeting in Canary Wharf, someone magically appeared with detailed tube directions and timing. That 9.1 rating makes total sense when you experience that level of service – it feels effortless but you know there’s serious attention to detail happening behind the scenes. Only minor gripe? The WiFi was a bit patchy in some corners of my apartment, though honestly, maybe that’s not such a bad thing when you’re trying to disconnect from work emails.
