The location is brilliant if you know London at all. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from Victoria Station (which, let’s face it, gets you anywhere in London), but it feels like you’ve discovered some secret neighborhood that tourists somehow miss.

The two-bedroom setup works really well – it’s not massive by any stretch, but it’s thoughtfully laid out in that way the British have mastered in tight spaces. The main bedroom actually gets decent morning light, and there’s proper storage space, which you know is rare in London. What I really appreciated was the kitchen situation. It’s small but functional, with a proper fridge and everything you’d need if you want to grab groceries from the Waitrose down on Warwick Way instead of eating out every meal. The living area has this lived-in comfort that feels genuine rather than staged – like someone actually thought about how people use a space. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that overcomplicated keyless entry nonsense that leaves you standing outside at midnight trying to figure out some app.

Here’s what really sells it for me though – the neighborhood knowledge you get just by staying here. You’re close enough to pop over to Pimlico Road for dinner (seriously underrated stretch of restaurants), and if you walk toward Sloane Square you’ll stumble across those little mews streets that make London feel magical. The 7.7 rating feels about right, honestly. It’s not trying to be the Savoy, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. The only minor thing – and this is pretty standard for the area – is that parking nearby costs a small fortune, so if you’re driving, factor that in. But really, you won’t need a car from here. The buses along Belgrave Road get you to Chelsea or Kensington in minutes, and there’s something satisfying about staying somewhere that feels properly London while still being ridiculously well-connected to everything else you want to see.
