But for a 4-star in this part of London, it delivers on what actually matters. The price point makes sense, the location is legitimately brilliant for exploring, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole operation. If you’re the type who needs a rooftop pool and marble everything, keep looking. But if you want a solid base in central London where you can actually get some sleep and the staff treats you like a human being rather than a room number, this place works.
