  Wow, what a difference a new proactive manager has made to this hotel. We had previously stayed at the hotel pre-covid on a number of occasions and had seen the decline in the building so where very presently surprised on the improvements that have been made since we last stayed. Refurbished, clean and comfortable rooms, with new carpet, bedding, T.V’s etc. The general ambiance of the property was very welcoming as were the helpful, polite and informative staff. Breakfast was buffet style, delicious and hot with plenty of variety and I had one of the best curries I have eaten in the restaurant for dinner one night. The manager was a delight to speak with and actively sought feedback from guests so that he could continue to improve services. All in all, an excellent stay, and great value for money and will be our first choice on returning to England and Kent.
