Huttons Hotel, Victoria London Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Huttons Hotel, Victoria London on Belgrave Road, you immediately get that classic London townhouse vibe — it’s one of those converted Victorian buildings that somehow manages to feel both historic and welcoming. The three-star property doesn’t try to be something it’s not, which I honestly appreciate. You’re right in the thick of things here, with Victoria Station practically on your doorstep and the buzz of central London all around you. This location offers genuine convenience for travelers seeking to explore the capital without venturing into more expensive neighborhoods.
The Location Sweet Spot
Here’s what makes this spot special — you’re genuinely in the heart of everything without paying those insane Mayfair prices. Victoria Station is maybe a three-minute walk, which means you can hop on the Tube and be anywhere in London within minutes. But what really surprised me was how quiet Belgrave Road actually is, considering you’re so close to all the action. The couples who stay here seem to get it — there’s something romantic about those tree-lined streets and Georgian architecture that makes evening strolls feel special. The neighborhood balances vibrant energy with peaceful residential charm.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully laid out — you know, proper London hotel size where every inch counts. The decor strikes that balance between traditional and updated, with decent lighting (always a concern in older buildings) and a surprisingly comfortable bed. The bathroom was small but functional, and honestly, the water pressure was better than I expected. Everything works well and feels clean and maintained. The furnishings reflect quality attention to detail throughout the space.
Breakfast and Dining
The breakfast setup really impressed me — they’ve clearly put thought into accommodating different dietary needs. The continental spread covers all the basics, but what stood out was how well they handle vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. It’s served buffet-style in a bright ground-floor space, and the staff actually knows what’s in each dish when you ask. The restaurant team demonstrates genuine expertise about ingredients and preparation methods. This attention to detail sets the dining experience apart from typical hotel offerings.
Why Guests Love It
What makes this place work is that it knows exactly what it is — a solid, well-located base for exploring London that doesn’t break the bank. The staff genuinely seems to care about helping guests navigate the city, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole operation. You’re paying for location and reliability here, and you get both. Plus, when you’re spending most of your time out exploring London anyway, having a comfortable, well-positioned place to return to each night is exactly what you need. The hotel delivers consistent value and genuine hospitality.
Hotels in London span royal parks, riverside wharfs, and Victorian arcades lined with tea salons.

Staff is friendly and the highlight of the hotel is location. There's a bus stop almost in front of the entrance to the hotel and Pimlico metro station is just few blocks away.

the hotel is in good location the bus stop going to main city is just at the front of the hotel, but the not happy as our room is at the basement where in the steps going down is a bit steep and slippery if i brought a suitcase it can be difficult for me but other than that breakfast is good.
