What really sold me was the kitchen setup; it’s not just some token kitchenette with a broken kettle, but an actual functional space where you could make a proper breakfast or heat up those M&S ready meals without feeling like you’re performing surgery in a closet.

Hyde Park is right there for morning runs or evening walks, and Speaker’s Corner is close enough that you’ll occasionally hear some passionate soul giving a speech on Sunday afternoons – which is either charming or mildly annoying depending on your mood. The area has that perfect mix of residential calm and urban convenience; there’s a decent Tesco Express nearby for essentials, some solid pub options (The Victoria is particularly good for Sunday roasts), and you’re close enough to Notting Hill that you can wander over for dinner without it being a whole expedition. Honestly, for a 4-star place with this kind of rating, it delivers exactly what you’d hope for – comfort, space, and a genuinely livable feel that makes London feel less like a tourist destination and more like a place you could actually settle into for a week or two.
