Immense Studio, Prime location Belgravia, Chelsea Overview
Honestly, when I first walked up to this place on Cadogan Square, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect – the name “Immense Studio” had me thinking it might be some massive loft space, but it’s actually more intimate than that suggests. What you’re getting is a really well-appointed studio apartment right in the heart of one of London’s most elegant neighborhoods, and I mean truly elegant. This isn’t tourist-trap central London; this is where locals with serious money actually live.
The location is just ridiculously good if you know anything about this part of town. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Sloane Square station, which connects you to everything, and Peter Jones (that massive department store locals swear by) is right there when you need anything. But here’s what I love – step out the front door and you’re surrounded by those gorgeous garden squares that make this area so special. Cadogan Square itself has this beautiful private garden in the center that you can actually peek into, and the whole street has that proper London residential feel with the white stucco buildings and black railings. You know you’re in Chelsea when the corner shops sell £200 candles and nobody bats an eye.
The studio itself surprised me – it’s got everything you need without feeling cramped, which is no small feat in London. The kitchen area is actually functional (I made proper coffee, not just tea), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that makes you want to stay in longer than you should. What really sold me though was how quiet it gets at night. I was worried about street noise since it’s such a central spot, but Cadogan Square is residential enough that once evening hits, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The only sounds you’ll hear are the occasional taxi and maybe some Chelsea locals heading home from dinner – definitely not the party crowd noise you’d get in Covent Garden or Shoreditch. Check-in was straightforward too, none of that awkward waiting around in a tiny lobby situation. One thing to note – parking around here is absolutely brutal during the day (welcome to Chelsea), but honestly, you won’t need a car. The whole point of staying here is that you can walk to Harrods in fifteen minutes, stroll through Hyde Park whenever you want, and you’re close enough to King’s Road to browse all those boutiques without dealing with hotel shuttle schedules. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re living in London rather than just visiting it, which is exactly what you want from a good studio rental.
