Karma Sanctum Soho Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Karma Sanctum Soho Hotel on Warwick Street, you immediately know this isn’t your typical five-star London property. The building has this edgy, almost rebellious vibe that feels perfectly at home in Soho — honestly, it’s like someone took rock and roll and turned it into a hotel. I mean, the exterior alone hints at something different, and once you step inside, you realize this place is all about breaking the mold of what luxury hospitality should look like.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally in the thick of everything that makes London exciting, but tucked away on a quieter street that doesn’t feel completely chaotic. Warwick Street puts you seconds from Oxford Street’s shopping madness, but you can actually walk to your front door without fighting through crowds. The theater district is right there — I’m talking about a five-minute stroll to catch a West End show. And if you’re into the whole Soho scene (which, let’s be honest, is why you’d stay here), you’ve got legendary pubs, quirky cafes, and some of the city’s best restaurants practically on your doorstep.
The Room Experience
The room design is where things get really interesting — think boutique luxury with a rock star edge. Each space has its own personality, but they all share this sophisticated rebellious streak that somehow works perfectly. The beds are seriously comfortable (which matters when you’ve been walking around London all day), and the bathrooms feel indulgent without being over the top. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to create spaces that feel both intimate and spacious, which is no small feat in central London where every square foot costs a fortune.
Dining & Amenities
The full English breakfast here is actually worth getting up for — and I say that as someone who usually just grabs coffee and runs. They’ve elevated the classic without making it pretentious, which seems to be the hotel’s approach to everything. The on-site restaurant carries that same energy, serving food that’s creative but not trying too hard to impress. There’s also this great little bar area where you can grab drinks before heading out to explore, or honestly, just stay in because the atmosphere is that good.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it captures the spirit of Soho while delivering genuine luxury — it’s not trying to be stuffy or traditional, which would feel completely wrong in this neighborhood. Couples especially seem to get it (they rate the location incredibly highly), probably because there’s something inherently romantic about staying somewhere that feels like your own private rebellion against boring hotel experiences. The staff understands the vibe too — they’re professional but not formal, helpful but not hovering. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere special, not just expensive.

Super hotel, fabulous rooms, breakfast, rooftop bar, jacuzzi, so central for shops restaurants theatres and underground. The rooms were amazing very comfortable. Breakfast waiter and food lovely. The night roof bar and barman plus clientele though made it amazing as we could leave the teenager in the room or take her up with us, the ‘elder’ of our group were made to feel equally welcome and special by everyone but particularly Tamer Hassan who was a real gentleman and made my mum’s night.

Our room was stylish and comfortable. A bit tight on space but in this part of London that’s no surprise. The shower room was huge and had everything you’d want.

We booked a small double as we stayed 1 night for a night at the theatre. Yes it is small but it does exactly what the hotel says. It was comfy, clean and well appointed. We had a good nights sleep – it did what it said on the tin – great choice for a n overnight stay. The location is great. All staff were friendly and helpful, especially the Italian gentleman at breakfast (sorry missed your name). The bar is great, alas we didn't use the roof terrace. We have put this hotel down as a place to stay again. Unlike 1 report suggests the hotel does not smell of a toilet! The decor and artwork were great.
