Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Location! 2 bed/2bath – Pro Host” as the name, I thought it was going to be one of those generic Airbnb situations where you’re basically staying in someone’s spare room with IKEA furniture and questionable Wi-Fi. But this place on Werrington Street actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked into this quiet residential stretch in Camden that feels properly local – you know, the kind of street where you’ll see actual Londoners walking their dogs instead of just tourists taking selfies. The building itself has that classic Victorian terraced house charm, and honestly, the moment you step inside, you can tell the host actually gives a damn about the details.
What really got me was how thoughtfully everything’s been set up. The two bedrooms are properly sized (not those shoebox situations you sometimes get in London), and the bathrooms – well, let’s just say you won’t be doing that awkward dance trying to fit into a shower that was clearly designed for someone half your height. The kitchen’s got everything you’d actually want to use, not just the bare minimum to technically call it “fully equipped.” I mean, there’s proper cookware, decent knives, even a coffee machine that doesn’t look like it was rescued from a car boot sale. The living area feels genuinely comfortable too – you can actually spread out and relax instead of perching awkwardly on furniture that’s more about looking good in photos than being livable.
Being in Camden, you’re sort of perfectly positioned for everything without being right in the chaos of the High Street markets. Werrington Street’s close enough that you can wander over to explore the stalls and vintage shops (though fair warning – weekends get absolutely mental around there), but far enough away that you won’t have drunk twenty-somethings singing outside your window at 2 AM. The transport links are brilliant – you’ve got multiple tube stations within walking distance, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to get around London without spending half your holiday budget on Ubers. I found myself walking to a lot of places I wouldn’t normally bother with because the location just works. Plus, there’s this lovely little corner shop nearby that stays open late, and the woman who runs it actually remembers your face after a few days – it’s those small touches that make you feel less like a tourist and more like you’re getting a genuine taste of London life. The whole experience just feels more authentic than staying in some massive hotel chain where everyone’s professionally pleasant but you never quite shake the feeling that you’re just another room number.
