London Court Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to London Court Hotel on Earls Court Road, you get that immediate sense of being in proper London — Victorian townhouse facade, tree-lined street, and just the right amount of character without feeling stuffy. This three-star spot sits perfectly in Kensington and Chelsea, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. The entrance is understated but welcoming, and you can tell right away this isn’t trying to be something it’s not — just a solid, well-run hotel in an absolutely brilliant part of town.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re genuinely in the heart of everything without the chaos of central tourist zones. Earls Court tube station is practically on your doorstep, which means you can be in South Kensington’s museum district in minutes or hop over to Notting Hill without breaking a sweat. The street itself has that lovely residential feel with plenty of cafes and pubs nearby, and you know what? Couples absolutely rave about this area — apparently they rate it 9.3 out of 10, which honestly doesn’t surprise me at all. You’ve got the best of both worlds here: proper London neighborhood vibes but with easy access to all the major attractions.
The Room Experience
Let me tell you about the beds — they’re genuinely comfortable, and I mean properly comfortable, not just hotel marketing speak. The room sizes are what you’d expect for London (translation: not massive, but thoughtfully designed), and everything feels clean and well-maintained. The decor strikes that nice balance between modern updates and classic British hotel charm. What really impressed me was the attention to detail — good lighting for actually reading, decent storage space, and windows that actually open, which is surprisingly rare these days.
Daily Comforts
The staff here genuinely seem to care about making your stay work well, which makes all the difference when you’re navigating a big city. There’s something to be said for a place that doesn’t try to overwhelm you with unnecessary amenities but instead focuses on getting the basics absolutely right. The common areas are comfortable without being pretentious, and there’s always someone around who can point you toward a good local restaurant or help sort out any questions about getting around town.
Why Guests Love It
This hotel works because it understands what most travelers actually want — a comfortable base in a fantastic location without paying five-star prices for things you won’t use. The combination of those seriously comfortable beds, the brilliant Kensington location, and staff who actually know the neighborhood creates something that feels more like staying with knowledgeable friends than just booking a room for the night. It’s the kind of place where you’ll sleep well, wake up refreshed, and step outside feeling like you’re already in the best part of London rather than having to travel to get there.

Dawn from United Kingdom (7/10)
The location was perfect for me as it was close to Earls Court tube station. I also discovered it was also very close to an excellent Italian restaurant, A Braccetto, which I’d recommend highly. The room was clean and largely comfortable.

Great location. One minute away from the metro station, around the hotel you have many food options (fast food, asian and italian cousine). Also there are many mini markets.Thee staff was kind. Many thanks to the gentleman who was working in the afternoon on 11/13 who picked up my suitcase to the third floor.

The room was very clean, the bathroom nice and the location excellent. Even though we were right on a busy street, the room was very quiet. Good value. It was very small- but that’s to be expected in London.
