What struck me most was how quiet everything was at night, despite being in central London — those thick Georgian walls really do their job.

  The location is excellent. It's just a few blocks from the Tube station (Baywater). There are plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafes, and bakeries about. It's very diverse. While the pubs have locals, it's a tourist area as there are lots of souvenir shops.
  The staff of the hotel is excellent and very helpful. I liked them very much. They reserved a car for me in the morning to take me to the train station. So nice.
