London Marriott Hotel Regents Park Overview
First Impressions
The London Marriott Hotel Regents Park sits on a quiet residential street in Camden that honestly feels more like a neighborhood secret than a typical hotel location. When I first walked up to the entrance on King Henry’s Road, I was struck by how the building manages to feel both grand and understated — you know what I mean? It’s that classic four-star Marriott reliability, but with something extra that comes from being tucked into one of London‘s most interesting areas.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s the thing about this spot — you’re actually in Camden, which means you get all the creative energy and fantastic food scene, but you’re also a stone’s throw from Regent’s Park. I mean, couples absolutely love it here (they rate the location 8.6, which honestly makes sense), and I can see why. You can walk to Primrose Hill for those Instagram-worthy city views, or just wander through the park when you need a break from London’s intensity. The Tube connections are solid too — you’re not stuck in some tourist bubble, but you’re not stranded either.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d hope for after a long day exploring the city. The beds here have this reputation for being incredibly comfortable, and honestly, they live up to the hype — I slept better than I had in weeks. The design feels fresh without trying too hard, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase properly (which, let’s be real, doesn’t always happen in London hotels). The windows look out over the residential street, so it’s peaceful but not boring. The thoughtful touches throughout make a real difference.
Breakfast & Dining
Breakfast here is one of those buffet situations where you can go full English or keep it simple with continental options — they’ve got vegetarian choices too, which I appreciated. The restaurant space has this relaxed morning energy that doesn’t feel rushed, even when it’s busy. I actually found myself lingering over coffee longer than usual, which says something about the atmosphere they’ve created. The quality of ingredients shines through in every dish.
Why Guests Love It
What really works about this place is how it balances being a proper hotel with feeling connected to the neighborhood around it. The parking situation is sorted if you’re driving (not something you can take for granted in London), and the staff genuinely seem to know the area well — they gave me restaurant recommendations that were spot-on. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere special without the pretension that sometimes comes with that. Recent guests consistently rate it highly, and after spending time here, I get why people keep coming back. This hotel truly delivers on its promise.
Best hotels in London blend skyline conservatories, afternoon teas, and spa suites scented with English botanicals.

Great location for visiting all the tourist attractions, plenty of transportation options, and they were mostly reliable and on time. Loved catching London buses so that you could see the local neighbourhoods when travelling to and from Central London. Would recommend a stay.
