The building itself has that classic London townhouse feel, and stepping into this particular apartment… well, it immediately felt more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than some sterile hotel setup.

The two bedrooms are genuinely spacious – and I’m not just saying that because London standards are usually tiny. The main bedroom gets beautiful morning light, though if you’re a light sleeper, maybe pack an eye mask since those Georgian windows don’t have blackout curtains. What really got me was the kitchen situation; it’s actually functional, with a proper-sized fridge and everything you’d need if you want to grab groceries from the Waitrose just around the corner on Marylebone High Street. The living area flows nicely, and there’s this comfortable couch that’s perfect for sprawling out after walking your feet off around the city. Small thing, but the Wi-Fi is solid – I was on calls without any issues.

Location-wise, this is where it gets really good. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Oxford Circus if you want the shopping chaos, but Regent’s Park is just as close if you need to escape the crowds. The Goodge Street and Oxford Circus tube stations are both walkable, which gives you options when one of them inevitably has weekend engineering works. I loved being able to duck into Fitzrovia for dinner – there’s this little Greek place on Charlotte Street that locals seem to know about. Parking is pretty much impossible unless you want to pay through the nose, but honestly, you won’t need a car here anyway. The building’s entrance is understated, which I appreciated – no doorman situation, just a clean, secure entry. Check-in was smooth, though they do that thing where they text you codes rather than handing over physical keys, so make sure your phone’s charged. One tiny gripe: the shower pressure could be stronger, but the water gets properly hot. Overall, it’s one of those places where you can actually picture living for a week or two, not just surviving a few nights.
