The couples who stay here absolutely rave about the location — and I get it. There’s something romantic about retreating to this peaceful manor after a day exploring the city. Plus, you’ve got free private parking right on-site, which is honestly a godsend if you’re driving anywhere in this part of England.

  We have stayed at the Mary Green numerous times and is our favourite local hotel. Mostly Christmas get togethers but this time moving house a respite for a few nights. Quiet friendly and welcoming.

  This is an old property which was refurbished many moons ago to a very high standard. Whilst a bit old fashioned now, the original quality still stands the test of time. It's warm, cosy and comfortable. Our twin room had a bath with shower so we were happy!
