Sure, you can hear the occasional late-night reveler wandering back from the West End, but honestly? That’s just London, and the double-glazed windows do a decent job keeping most of it out. The 8.6 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises. For the money and the location, especially if you want to be in the thick of things without paying Savoy prices, it’s actually quite solid.
