You’re genuinely in the heart of Kensington, which means you can walk to the Natural History Museum in about ten minutes, and Earl’s Court tube station is practically around the corner. I mean, couples rate the location 9.1 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally get why. The neighborhood has that perfect mix of residential calm and easy access to everything — you’re close enough to South Kensington’s museum district but far enough from the chaos of Oxford Street.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was… well, let’s be honest, it’s what you’d expect from a three-star London hotel. Not huge, but cleverly designed to make the most of the space. The bed was comfortable enough, and there’s something to be said for those high Victorian ceilings that make even smaller rooms feel less cramped. What I really appreciated was how clean everything was — sometimes these older London hotels can feel a bit tired, but this place clearly puts effort into maintenance.

Morning Fuel

Breakfast here is a proper continental buffet setup, and honestly, it does the job well. Nothing fancy, but you’ve got your cereals, pastries, fruit, and the usual suspects — plus they actually make decent coffee, which isn’t always a given at this price point. The breakfast room gets good morning light, and there’s usually a nice mix of guests chatting quietly. It’s one of those moments where you remember you’re staying in a real London neighborhood, not some sterile hotel district.

Look, this isn’t a pretentious property, and it doesn’t pretend to be — but that’s exactly why it works so well. You’re paying for an excellent location and solid, no-nonsense accommodation in one of London’s best neighborhoods. The staff knows the area inside and out, so they’ll point you toward the good local pubs (there’s a great one just two streets over) and help you navigate the tube system if you’re new to it. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about staying in residential Kensington rather than a busy commercial area — you feel like you’re living in London for a few days rather than just visiting it.

  The welcome was perfect, took care of our bags even though our room wasn’t finished yet, even got offered another room instead of waiting. A 2min walk from Earl’s Court station was perfect and also just 15-20 stroll from Stamford Bridge.

  We booked two single bed rooms and they put us side by side with a connecting door between the rooms. During check-in they made sure that it is ok for us and also asked if the door should be locked or unlocked. The location of the hotel was perfect, not to central, but so close, that we could easily reach it from Heathrow Airport, aswell as taking three different lines to the city from Earl's Court.

  The location close to the Tube and pub and restaurants is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everywhere was very clean. The breakfast was good.

  Amazing location steps away from Earls Court metro station. Nice hotel. I had a kettle, coffee and tea to prepare, and a water bottle waiting for me in my room. All included in the stay. I stayed in a single room, which is small, especially the bathroom but had everything I needed.
  The hotel surroundings looked pretty safe as a solo female traveler. But I wouldn’t stay out past 11 pm since you start seeing less people on the streets at around 10 pm.
