Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be straight with you about Nevern Place – it’s one of those aparthotels that actually gets the balance right between having your own space and still feeling like you’re being looked after. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from Earl’s Court tube station, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re dragging luggage around London or coming back late from the West End.
The building itself sits on this quiet residential street that feels properly London – you know, those white Victorian terraces that make you feel like you’re in a Richard Curtis film. But here’s what I really appreciated: the apartments are genuinely spacious by London standards. We’re talking proper kitchenettes where you can actually cook something more ambitious than instant noodles, and living areas where you don’t feel like you’re camping in a hotel room. The whole setup worked perfectly for us because, honestly, eating out for every meal in London will bankrupt you faster than you’d think. Plus there’s a Tesco Express literally around the corner on Earl’s Court Road – I probably made that walk about fifteen times during our stay.
What struck me most was how the place manages to feel residential while still having that hotel-level service when you need it. The front desk team actually seemed to know the neighborhood inside out (not always a given with aparthotels), and they sorted us out with everything from restaurant recommendations to the best route to avoid the crowds around the Natural History Museum. Speaking of which – you’re about a fifteen-minute walk through some gorgeous garden squares to get to South Ken’s museum district, which beats the hell out of fighting for space on the Piccadilly line. The area around Nevern Place gets surprisingly quiet in the evenings too, especially compared to the chaos of central tourist zones. I mean, you’ll hear the occasional siren or late-night reveler, but it’s nothing compared to staying near Leicester Square or something mad like that. One thing to note though – if you’re driving, parking around here is typically London awful, so I’d honestly just forget about having a car altogether.
