Pembridge Palace Hotel Overview
First Impressions
The Pembridge Palace Hotel sits on a lovely garden square in Bayswater, and honestly, the location alone makes it worth considering. I mean, you’re basically in the heart of London but tucked away on this quiet residential street that feels almost village-like. The building itself is classic Victorian — nothing too flashy, but it has that proper London hotel charm that you’re probably hoping for. You know what struck me most? How peaceful Prince’s Square actually is, despite being so close to everything.
The Neighborhood
Here’s the thing about staying in Bayswater — you’re ridiculously well-connected without the chaos of central tourist areas. Hyde Park is literally across the street (and I do mean literally), which is perfect for morning runs or just escaping the city buzz. Paddington Station is a five-minute walk, so getting to Heathrow is dead simple, and you’ve got both Queensway and Bayswater tube stations nearby. The area has this nice mix of proper London residential streets and enough restaurant and pubs that you won’t feel isolated. Plus, couples seem to absolutely love it here — they consistently rate the location around 9 out of 10, which honestly makes sense once you experience it.
The Room Experience
This is a three-star property, so set your expectations accordingly — but the rooms are actually quite comfortable and well-maintained. The room I stayed in was compact (this is London, after all) but cleverly designed to feel more spacious than it actually was. The beds are proper comfortable, and the bathrooms, while not huge, are modern and functional. What I appreciated most was how quiet everything was — those garden square windows really do block out the city noise, which can be rare in central London hotels.
Breakfast and Amenities
The breakfast setup is a straightforward buffet — nothing fancy, but it gets the job done well. You’ll find the usual suspects: eggs, bacon, toast, cereals, and decent coffee. It’s served in a pleasant dining room that overlooks the square, which actually makes for a nice start to the day. The staff here are genuinely helpful too — they seem to know the neighborhood really well and can point you toward good local spots that aren’t just tourist traps. There’s no spa or fancy amenities, but honestly, with Hyde Park right there and all of London at your doorstep, you probably won’t miss them.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t a fancy boutique hotel or a grand property — it’s something better for many travelers: a solid, well-run place in an absolutely brilliant location. The fact that recent guests consistently rate the location 9 out of 10 tells you everything you need to know. You’re getting genuine London neighborhood living with easy access to everything you want to see. The value proposition here is really about location and reliability rather than bells and whistles, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. If you want to feel like you’re staying in a real London neighborhood while still being minutes from major attractions, this place delivers on that promise.
To book hotel in London for festive lights, travelers reserve West End suites glowing above cobbled lanes.

An excellent value for money hotel where nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are very clean and serviced daily. Perfect location as a base for visiting London and the sites of London. Close to transport hubs & a good breakfast to start the day. The area is lovely and quiet, even though it is the festive season. Good convenience stores within walking distance. Highly recommend. We had the most perfect stay for our family reunion & London experience. Thank you, Pembridge Hotel.

Staff and servicing of the rooms were great. Hotel was a bit tired overall but in a great location. We were a family of 4 so the queen bed and bunks were perfect and made this overall good value for money.

The staff was very friendly and went beyond the call of duty. I received an upgrade and it was wonderful to have a bathroom with bath. The full English breakfast offers good value for money. Most of all the lopcation of Pembridge Palace is in the heart of the best tourist places, walking distance to Kensington Park , Nottinghill Gate and close to busses and the underground.
