Belgrave Road has enough going on during the day – decent pubs, that reliable Tesco Express when you need basics – but it settles down beautifully in the evenings. The staff actually seem to know the area too, which is rarer than you’d think. They pointed me toward St. George’s Square when I mentioned wanting a proper walk, and it turned out to be this gorgeous garden square I never would’ve found otherwise.
