Couples seem to get this particularly well, which makes sense given how romantic those cobblestone streets can be in the evening.

The rooms here are what I’d call smart and efficient rather than spacious. Point A has this whole concept down to a science — everything you need is there, but they’ve stripped away the unnecessary bits to keep costs reasonable. The room I stayed in was compact but cleverly designed, with a really comfortable bed and surprisingly good blackout curtains (trust me, this matters when you’re trying to sleep off jet lag). The bathroom is small but functional, and the shower pressure is actually decent, which isn’t always a given in London hotels.

Breakfast and Dining

The breakfast setup here really impressed me, especially considering the price point. They’ve got this buffet spread that covers pretty much every dietary requirement you can think of — continental options, vegetarian, vegan, even gluten-free choices. It’s not fancy, but it’s fresh and there’s enough variety that you won’t get bored if you’re staying multiple nights. The restaurant area gets busy around 8 AM, so I’d suggest going a bit earlier or later if you prefer a quieter start to your day.

  Our experience at the hotel was great. The room is as it’s seen on the picture – small, yet very functional. There are no wardrobes (as seen on pictures) so it comes handy being organized. the rooms are very tidy, the bed, sheets and pillows are very comfortable and cozy and we got fresh towels every day & fresh linen on the second day. Charging ports are type USB and regular uk sockets. The staff was very very nice, we had the most contact with Eugene who helped us with all of our needs and we were very thankful for his help. Compliments also to everybody else. Breakfast was very delicious, with various options and fully stocked at all times. For us the location was great, there are 3 underground stations nearby in each directions and even closer is the bus stop.
  Overall it was a great, lovely experience. I will be happy to come again someday.
