Hotel Description
So I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Stunning 4-Bed Apartment” on Homer Street, I was a bit skeptical about the name. I mean, who calls their own place stunning, right? But actually, after spending a few days there, I get it. The space really does have this warm, lived-in feel that somehow manages to be both homey and polished at the same time.
The location is what really sold me though. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Marble Arch tube station, which sounds touristy until you realize how incredibly useful that is. I could pop down to Oxford Street for shopping (though honestly, avoid weekends unless you enjoy being sardined with tourists), then hop on the Central line to get literally anywhere in London. What I didn’t expect was how quiet Homer Street actually is – it’s tucked just enough away from the main chaos that you can actually sleep with the windows cracked open. The building itself has that classic London character, you know, the kind with those heavy front doors that make you feel like you’re unlocking some secret when you get the hang of the key system.
Inside, the four bedrooms are genuinely spacious by London standards, and I appreciated that they didn’t try to cram tiny beds into tiny spaces just to say they had four rooms. The kitchen actually works – I mean, you can cook real meals here, not just reheat takeaway. There’s this nice little dining area where the morning light hits just right if you’re an early coffee person like me. The living room has these big windows facing the street, and honestly, people-watching from there became my evening entertainment. You’ll see everything from locals walking their ridiculously well-groomed dogs to confused tourists trying to figure out which way leads to Hyde Park (it’s left, by the way).
What struck me most was how the whole place feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental. There are books on the shelves you might actually want to read, and the wifi is strong enough that I could work from the dining table without wanting to throw my laptop out the window. The shower pressure is decent – not life-changing, but definitely better than some places I’ve stayed in this neighborhood where you feel like you’re being misted by a plant sprayer.
Look, it’s got a 7.6 rating and honestly, that feels about right. It’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but it gets all the important stuff right. The area is brilliant for exploring – you can walk to Regent’s Park when you need green space, or wander down to Marylebone High Street for that village-in-the-city vibe that London does so well. Plus, if you’re traveling with a group or family, having four proper bedrooms means everyone gets their own space, which is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to coordinate multiple people’s London adventures. Just don’t expect a concierge or daily housekeeping – this is more like borrowing a friend’s really nice flat than staying at a hotel, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
