What I love is that despite being in the thick of everything, Wilton Place itself feels surprisingly peaceful. You can actually have a conversation on the street without shouting over traffic, which is rare for central London. The tube connections are fantastic too — Hyde Park Corner station puts you anywhere in the city within minutes.

Luxurious Accommodations

The room I stayed in was everything you’d expect from a luxury London hotel, but with thoughtful touches that set it apart. Those beds everyone raves about? They’re not exaggerating — I slept better here than I have in months. The linens feel expensive (because they probably are), and there’s something about the mattress firmness that just works. Each room has this understated elegance with contemporary art and furnishings that feel fresh rather than stuffy. The bathrooms deserve a mention too — marble everything, but done in a way that feels warm rather than cold and institutional.

Breakfast here is honestly impressive in its scope. They’ve got everything covered — Italian, Full English, vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, Asian, American — basically whatever dietary requirements or cravings you might have. The restaurant staff know their stuff too, and they’re happy to customize things if you need something specific. What struck me is how they manage to do quantity without sacrificing quality. Even with all those options, everything tastes fresh and well-prepared rather than like it’s been sitting under heat lamps.
