Wilde Aparthotels London Aldgate Tower Bridge Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Wilde Aparthotels London Aldgate Tower Bridge on Commercial Road, you immediately get that “this is actually happening” feeling — you know, when you realize you’re staying somewhere that feels both properly London and genuinely comfortable. The building has this modern edge that doesn’t try too hard, and honestly, the whole Tower Hamlets area around here has this brilliant mix of old London grit and new energy that I find way more interesting than some of the more touristy spots.
Location That Actually Works
Here’s the thing about this location — it’s one of those spots where you feel like you’ve discovered something the guidebooks haven’t quite caught up with yet. You’re literally a short walk from Tower Bridge (I mean, it’s in the name for a reason), but you’re also right in the thick of East London‘s evolving food scene. The couples who stay here seem to get it — there’s something romantic about wandering these streets together, especially in the evening when the city lights start reflecting off the Thames. Plus, you can actually get around easily from here without feeling like you’re fighting tourist crowds every time you step outside.
The Aparthotel Experience
What I love about this four-star setup is that each room feels like your own little London base rather than just another hotel stay. You get proper space to spread out — which, let’s be honest, is pretty rare in London without paying through the nose. The kitchenette situation is actually useful too, not just one of those token mini-fridges that hotels throw in. I found myself picking up bits from the local markets and actually enjoying the option to make coffee the way I like it in the morning.
Breakfast Worth Getting Up For
The breakfast here surprised me, actually. They’ve got this whole range going — continental if you’re in a rush, full English if you want the proper experience, buffet style so you can mix and match, or even breakfast to go if you’re one of those people who likes to eat while walking (no judgment). The quality is solid, and there’s something satisfying about starting your day with a proper meal before heading out to explore. The restaurant space has good natural light too, which makes those slightly groggy morning moments more bearable.
Why Guests Love It
What really comes through in talking to other guests is this sense that the place just works without any drama. The recent guest ratings speak for themselves — when people consistently rate the location this highly, it usually means they’ve discovered something that hits that sweet spot between accessibility and authenticity. You’re close enough to the major sights that you don’t spend half your day on transport, but far enough from the main tourist crush that you can actually breathe. The fact that couples particularly love it here tells you something about the vibe — it’s got that relaxed, “let’s actually enjoy being in London together” feeling rather than the rushed, checkbox-ticking energy you get in some parts of the city.
Locals suggest to book apartments in London around Marylebone for farmers markets, bookshops, and leafy mews.

Reviews of Wilde Aparthotels London Aldgate Tower Bridge
Stefano from Belgium (9/10)
The attitude of the personnel was great! We had a little hiccup when got there and Erick, Julia and Luis went above and beyond for us. I usually stay in high-end hotels but the service here was hearty.
Lisa from United Kingdom (9/10)
I love that there was a kitchenette in our room with everything we needed. Having a child with us who lives with ASD and is a very fussy eater meant we could cook him the things he likes to eat and didn’t need to eat out… Happy, well fed child and a great saving on cost also.

Nice lobby and staff readily available. Room and amenities were great! Sleep sofa not extremely comfortable but it was OK. Good neighborhood. Easy walk to Underground stations. We initially thought streets would be kind of deserted after business hours but there were many students out and about, and a couple of good local pubs. Check out Jack the Chipper for fish and chips.
