Egerton House Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Egerton House on that quiet stretch of Egerton Terrace, you’d honestly never guess you’re about to step into one of London’s most charming five-star boutique hotels. The Victorian townhouse facade blends so seamlessly with the neighborhood that I almost walked past it — which, honestly, is part of its appeal. This isn’t some flashy luxury tower; it’s the kind of place that whispers rather than shouts about its elegance. The moment you cross the threshold, you’re transported into a world of refined comfort and personalized service.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s brilliant about staying here? You’re literally in the heart of Knightsbridge, but tucked away on this peaceful residential street that feels worlds apart from the tourist chaos. Harrods is a three-minute walk, Hyde Park is right there when you need some green space, and the Victoria and Albert Museum is practically around the corner. The couples who stay here absolutely love it — and I get why, because there’s something quite romantic about having your own little corner of one of London’s most prestigious neighborhoods. The location strikes that perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was — well, let me put it this way: those beds really are as comfortable as everyone says. After trudging around London all day, sinking into that mattress felt like a small miracle. The decor strikes this perfect balance between traditional English charm and modern comfort, with rich fabrics and antique touches that make you feel like you’re staying in a well-appointed private residence rather than a hotel. The attention to detail is what gets you — fresh flowers, quality linens, and those little touches that show someone actually cares about your stay. Every element has been thoughtfully curated.
Breakfast & Amenities
Breakfast here is proper Full English — none of that continental nonsense when you’re paying these prices. They do it right, with quality ingredients that actually taste like something. What surprised me was discovering they have private parking available, which in central London is basically like finding gold. If you’re driving in, that’s a massive bonus that’ll save you both money and the headache of street parking in Knightsbridge. The thoughtful amenities extend throughout the property.
Why Guests Love It
There’s something special about a place that manages to feel both luxurious and genuinely welcoming. The staff here seem to understand that true hospitality isn’t about being overly formal — it’s about anticipating what you need before you ask. Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or just want to experience London from one of its most desirable addresses, Egerton House delivers that rare combination of prime location, genuine comfort, and understated elegance. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to return again and again.
The concierge service in London arranges private palace salons, bespoke Savile Row fittings, and river yachts at twilight.

Reviews of Egerton House

One of the best hotel stays I have ever had. I think that this hotel really deserves its ranking. Nathan at the reception (the only name I remember) welcomed us and we even managed to check in 2 hours earlier, however we did not expect that. He also gave a lot of tips where to go and what to see. I must say that all the staff are very friendly, polite and respectful. All women that serve breakfast were making the beginning of our days great and very positive. Food was really delicious and we could choose the dishes or adjust them as we would like. The room was very nice, not too small, with all facilities we needed. Adaptor was provided in the room that made our charging of the devices easier. We liked the opportunity to take some treats and tea at the reception. The cleaning of the rooms was done in a proper way.

A stunning elegant 5* boutique hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge and a few minutes walk to Harrods.
Truly a 5* hotel that delivers 5* service. The rooms are so tastefully decorated with the finest detail covered in every aspect.
A perfect nights sleep, fully refreshed and ready to start the day with a stunning quality breakfast and impeccable service.
Will certainly return again and hopefully for a longer stay. Thank you for making it a great stay.Georgios from Greece (8/10)

Lovely stay, we were made to feel very welcome, loved the Christmas decor and the extra little touches, staff were superb, the Turkish eggs at breakfast were Devine. In a great location, handy for bus route for main attractions and short walking distance to the museums.

This is a small traditional English hotel on a quiet street, superbly situated near Harrods and Victoria and Albert Museum. Our deluxe king room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The hotel’s greatest asset is its staff! They were extremely helpful in our inquiries and accommodating to our requests. A service far beyond the usual London hotel…
