The building’s pretty well soundproofed too – I was worried about street noise, but honestly the only thing I heard was the occasional bin lorry in the morning.

The space itself has this modern-but-cozy vibe that actually works. Clean lines, decent lighting, and – this might sound silly but it matters – proper curtains that actually block out light. The kitchen’s small but functional; I managed to make breakfast most mornings without feeling cramped.
