Sure, you’ll catch the occasional ambulance heading toward UCH, but it’s not the chaos you’d imagine.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, if that makes sense. None of that sterile hotel vibe where everything’s bolted down and wrapped in plastic. The kitchen’s got proper equipment (not just a sad kettle and some instant coffee), and the bedroom has blackout curtains that’ll save your life if you’re dealing with jet lag. What really got me was the little details – decent water pressure in the shower, outlets where you need them, and enough closet space that you’re not living out of a suitcase for your entire stay. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s polished without being pretentious.

Location-wise, this is where it gets interesting. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road station, which sounds touristy but is actually brilliant for getting anywhere in London without the usual Tube drama. Wardour Street’s right there with all the film industry buzz, and you can stumble to some of the best late-night eats in the city – I’m talking about those Thai places on Greek Street that somehow stay open until 3am. During the day, it’s got that creative energy with people rushing between meetings and film shoots, but evenings can get pretty lively (read: loud) on weekends. If you’re here during Edinburgh Festival season or Christmas shopping madness, just know you’ll be swimming upstream against crowds, but that’s Soho for you. The building itself sits on a quieter stretch though, so you get the energy without being right in the thick of Oxford Street’s tourist tsunami. For the 8.6 rating, I’d say that’s fair – it delivers exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises.
