Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first looked up Bloomfield Court on Bourdon Street – I mean, central London flats can be hit or miss, you know? But this 2BHK actually surprised me in the best way possible. The moment you step inside, there’s this sense of breathing room that’s pretty rare for London properties. The ceilings are higher than you’d expect, and whoever designed the layout really knew what they were doing because it doesn’t feel cramped like so many city rentals do.
What really won me over was the location – and I don’t just mean it’s “convenient” (honestly, hate that word). You’re literally a three-minute walk from Bond Street station, which sounds touristy but actually means you can hop on the Central or Jubilee lines without dealing with the chaos of Oxford Circus. The street itself is surprisingly quiet for being so central, though you’ll hear the occasional black cab rumbling by in the early morning. I loved that I could walk to Selfridges in about five minutes if I needed anything, but also duck into Mount Street for those gorgeous little cafes that most visitors never find. There’s a Tesco Express around the corner on Davies Street – trust me, you’ll appreciate knowing that when you need milk at 9 PM.
The flat itself feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend’s place than a typical rental. The kitchen actually has proper counter space (miracle in London), and the bedrooms are genuinely spacious – I could open my suitcase fully without having to climb over it to get to the bathroom. The shower pressure was decent, which… well, if you’ve stayed in London before, you know that’s not always a given. One thing I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, especially considering you’re in the heart of Mayfair. The building seems solid, and I never heard neighbors stomping around above or beside me. Check-in was straightforward too – none of that waiting around for someone to show up with keys. The whole experience just felt smooth and thought-out, like someone who actually travels designed this place instead of just trying to maximize bookings.
