The Londoner Overview
First Impressions
Walking into The Londoner on Leicester Square honestly feels like stepping into something from a movie — and I mean that in the best way possible. This five-star hotel sits right in the thick of things, where you can literally hear the buzz of street performers and see the glow of West End theaters from the entrance. The lobby has this sophisticated energy that somehow manages to feel both grand and welcoming, which isn’t always easy to pull off in London.
Location Magic
You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re basically at the center of everything without feeling overwhelmed by it. Leicester Square can get pretty hectic — especially on weekend evenings — but once you’re inside, there’s this perfect buffer from the chaos. I mean, you can walk to Covent Garden in about three minutes, hit Oxford Street for shopping, or catch a show in the West End without even thinking about transport. The couples who stay here absolutely love it (they rate the location 9.7, which honestly makes sense), and I get why — there’s something romantic about being able to stroll through the heart of London together.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was actually quite impressive — modern luxury without being cold or sterile. What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create this sense of space despite being in such a dense part of the city. The windows are properly soundproofed too, which you’ll appreciate when the square gets lively below. The bathroom feels like a proper retreat, and honestly, after a long day of walking around London, that rainfall shower hits differently.
Dining and Breakfast
The breakfast situation here is pretty stellar — they’ve got everything from a full English to vegan options, plus continental and gluten-free choices. What I really appreciated was that it’s set up as a buffet, so you’re not waiting around for service when you’re eager to get out and explore. The restaurant itself has this warm atmosphere that makes you want to linger over coffee, even when Leicester Square is calling just outside.
Why Guests Love It
Look, there are plenty of luxury hotels in London, but this one gets the balance right between location and experience. You’re not sacrificing comfort for convenience or vice versa — you actually get both. The staff seem to understand that most guests are here to experience London, not just the hotel, so they’re genuinely helpful with recommendations and directions. Plus, there’s something to be said for falling asleep in the heart of one of the world’s great cities and waking up ready to dive right back in. The 9.1 rating speaks for itself, but honestly, it’s those little moments — like stepping out for a late evening walk through the illuminated square or grabbing morning coffee before the crowds arrive — that make this place special.
The concierge service in London arranges private palace salons, bespoke Savile Row fittings, and river yachts at twilight.

I recently stayed at this fantastic hotel in central London, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to explore all the major attractions and enjoy everything London has to offer.
The hotel itself is modern and impeccably designed, with a sleek aesthetic that strikes the perfect balance between sophistication and comfort. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a day of sightseeing.
What really stood out was the atmosphere—it’s vibrant yet cozy, making you feel welcomed the moment you step through the doors. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall exceptional experience.

Smooth check-in, got a glass of sparkling wine at the residence. The doorman was really friendly and helpful.
Our room was on the small side, but with a beautiful view over the London eye. Bed was comfortable.Farooq from United Kingdom (10/10)

We really enjoyed our stay and the exceptional help and assistance whenever we needed it. The only thing that could have been improved would have been the size of the room. For two people, it was rather small (particularly for the price that we paid)and there was little room to set up my computer since the table was so close to the bed. We should have been given a larger room. The Londoner is beautiful and the food exceptional, but next time, please let the guest know size of rooms that are available. Thank you.
